Kings and Priests

Revelation 1:6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. KJV

·      Kings - NT:932 basileia (bas-il-i'-ah); from NT:935; properly, royalty, i.e. (abstractly) rule, or (concretely) a realm (literally or figuratively): KJV - kingdom, reign.

o  NT:935 basileus (bas-il-yooce'); probably from NT:939 (through the notion of a foundation of power); a sovereign (abstractly, relatively, or figuratively): KJV - king. 

§  NT:939 basis (bas'-ece); from baino (to walk); a pace ("base"), i.e. (by implication) the foot: KJV - foot. 

·      Priests - NT:2409 hiereus (hee-er-yooce'); from NT:2413; a priest (literally  or figuratively): KJV - (high) priest. 

o   NT:2413 hieros (hee-er-os'); of uncertain affinity; sacred: KJV - holy. 

We can be holy, sanctified and on our way to Heaven teaching and preaching the Gospel all the way.

We can be kingly, walking in authority and having dominion in the region that God has planted us in.  Hardly ever are we both.  Satan will attack one or the other to get our effectiveness lessened.

If we are weak in holiness or as a priest, we fail to operate in the anointing of God that will destroy yokes.

Genesis 14:18 And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God.

19 And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth:

20 And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all. KJV

Exodus 19:2-6

camped before the mount.

3 And Moses went up unto God, and the LORD called unto him out of the mountain, saying, Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel;

4 Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself.

5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:

6 And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests , and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.

2017.07.02 - It Just So Happened

Ruth 2:1And Naomi had a kinsman of her husband's, a mighty man of wealth, of the family of Elimelech; and his name was Boaz. 

2 And Ruth the Moabitess said unto Naomi, Let me now go to the field, and glean ears of corn after him in whose sight I shall find grace. And she said unto her, Go, my daughter.

3 And she went, and came, and gleaned in the field after the reapers: and her hap was to light on a part of the field belonging unto Boaz, who was of the kindred of Elimelech. KJV

Ruth 2:1There was a relative of Naomi's husband, a man of great wealth, of the family of Elimelech. His name was Boaz. 2 So Ruth the Moabitess said to Naomi, "Please let me go to the field, and glean heads of grain after him in whose sight I may find favor."

And she said to her, "Go, my daughter." 

3 Then she left, and went and gleaned in the field after the reapers. And she happened to come to the part of the field belonging to Boaz, who was of the family of Elimelech. NKJV
