In Genesis 1 God says "it is good" six (6) times

On the seventh (7th) time He says what He has created is "very good" 

 

In Genesis 2:18 God for the first time says something is "not good" and that is that a man should not be alone

  1. 1. Time Stands Still 
    1. a. Nehemiah 1:1 The words of Nehemiah the son of Hachaliah. And it came to pass in the month Chisleu, in the twentieth year, as I was in Shushan the palace, 2 That Hanani, one of my brethren, came, he and certain men of Judah; and I asked them concerning the Jews that had escaped, which were left of the captivity, and concerning Jerusalem.     1. b. Nehemiah 2:1 And it came to pass in the month Nisan, in the twentieth year of Artaxerxes the king, that wine was before him: and I took up the wine, and gave it unto the king. Now I had not been beforetime sad in his presence. KJV
      1. i. Per commentators it had been almost four months from the time when Nehemiah had learned of what was happening in Jerusalem
      1. ii. It was between 70 - 140 years from the time it was burned to the time it began to be rebuilt
      1. iii. It only took Nehemiah 52 days to get it done once he was on the job

        1. 1. It seems like there are most against us than there are with us - but God has promised 1 John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. KJV
    1. b. Obscurity And Loneliness - 
      1. i. Jesus asked the disciples could you not tarry one hour?
      1. ii. Nehemiah 2 he slipped out in the night with just a few to survey the damage.  He had not yet told the city officials what he was doing there or planned to do                                                                             
        1. 1. Sometimes not everyone sees what you see and is impacted the way you are by what is seen.
