Being a hero is not about being perfect, or strong, or even being right all the time, it is about the condition of your heart and what you do with what you have been given.  

 

Josiah tore down the altars to the false gods in his day, and he began to reign when he was only 16

 

Saul was set for success but his heart was not right before The Lord and he failed and fell.

 

One of the marks of a super hero, at least on tv, is that they cannot be killed, that they live forever - ETERNAL LIFE!

 

Paul said of himself that he was the chief of sinners, does that sound like a hero? But then look at his heart, his life, his love for God and the way he followed Him

It is not what happens to you that makes you good or bad but what you do with what happens to you - it is your decision

 

We are all born into sin - but we don’t have to live there . . .we are all born into a hospital room, born into tiny clothes, born having someone feed us our every bite, someone else makes our choices for us, we MUST grow to the point we make one good decision after another 

 

 

Mark 12:42-13:1

 

42 And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing.

 

43 And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury:

 

44 For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had , even all her living.
