1.    I Must Decrease

a.    John 3:30He must increase, but I must decreaseKJV

d.    As a Christian, in worship I must continually place God on the throne of my heart

2.    Worship Gives Meaning To Life

a.    A life without worship is a life without meaning

b.    When we don’t worship God we replace Him with something lesser than to worship

                              i.        Self

                             ii.        Finances

                           iii.        Relationships

                           iv.        Status

1.    All of these are "less than" God!

c.    When we worship anything other than God and WHEN not IF it fails, which it will, we find out lives without meaning.

                              i.        We fail in and of ourselves

                             ii.        Finances are fleeting, money made and even saved is money spent.  At the end of the day it is just paper and metal.

                           iii.        Relationship at best are imperfect and changing, conditional

                           iv.        God is Eternal, Unchanging and the only One worthy of the worship that humans are designed to give 

                             v.        The only thing that brings meaning, lasting meaning, is to serve God

1.    Ecclesiastes 12:13Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.KJV

3.    The List Without Worship

a.    Romans 1:21Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
