1.     Enemy comes against  you . . .

a.     Jacob was being cheated

                              i.         Genesis 31:7 And your father hath deceived me, and changed my wages ten times; but God suffered him not to hurt me. KJV

b.     Joseph sold by brothers

                              i.         Genesis 45:5 Now therefore be not grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that ye sold me hither: for God did send me before you to preserve life. 6 For these two years hath the famine been in the land: and yet there are five years, in the which there shall neither be earing nor harvest. 7 And God sent me before you to preserve you a posterity in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance. 8 So now it was not you that sent me hither, but God: and he hath made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house, and a ruler throughout all the land of Egypt. KJV

 

2.     Family Issues Are Present

a.     Abraham and Ishmael 

Genesis 21:12 But God said to Abraham, “Do not let it be displeasing in your sight because of the lad or because of your bondwoman. Whatever Sarah has said to you, listen to her voice; for in Isaac your seed shall be called. 13 And also of the son of the bondwoman will I make a nation, because he is thy seed. KJV

3.     When All Seems Lost

a.     Christ crucified

                              i.         Acts 13:29 And when they had fulfilled all that was written of him, they took him down from the tree, and laid him in a sepulchre. 30 But God raised him from the dead: KJV

b.     Lost in sin 

                              i.         Romans 5 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.KJV
