1.     Powers That Be 

a.     Romans 13:1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.  KJV

a.     Definitions 

1.     The higher - 

1.     Powers - NT:1849 exousia (ex-oo-see'-ah); from NT:1832 (in the sense of ability); privilege, i.e. (subjectively) force, capacity, competency, freedom, or (objectively) mastery (concretely, magistrate, superhuman, potentate, token of control), delegated influence: KJV - authority, jurisdiction, liberty, power, right, strength.

1.     NT:1832 exestin (ex'-es-teen) or exesti (ex'-es-tee); third person singular present indicative of a compound of NT:1537 and NT:1510; so also exon (ex-on'); neuter present participle of the same (with or without some form of NT:1510 expressed); impersonally, it is right (through the figurative idea of being out in public): KJV - be lawful, let, may (-est). 

2.     Prayer For The Will of God

a.     Matthew 6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. 14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: 15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. KJV

a.     Is the will of God always done?

1.     2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. KJV

3.     What He Honors/Allows VS What He Blesses

a.     Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable,  and perfect, will of God. KJV

a.     Good - NT:18 agathos (ag-ath-os'); a primary word; "good" (in any sense, often as noun): KJV - benefit, good (-s, things), well. Compare NT:2570. 

b.     Acceptable - NT:2101 euarestos (yoo-ar'-es-tos); from NT:2095 and NT:701; fully agreeable: KJV - acceptable (-ted), wellpleasing. 

1.     NT:2095 eu (yoo); neuter of a primary eus (good); (adverbially) well: KJV - good, well (done). 

2.     :701 arestos (ar-es-tos'); from NT:700; agreeable; by implication, fit: KJV - (things that) please (-ing), reason. 

c.     Perfect - NT:5046 teleios (tel'-i-os); from NT:5056; complete (in various applications of labor, growth, mental and moral character, etc.); neuter (as noun, with NT:3588) completeness: KJV - of full age, man, perfect. 

1.     NT:5056 telos (tel'-os); from a primary tello (to set out for a definite point or goal); properly, the point aimed at as a limit, i.e. (by implication) the conclusion of an act or state (termination [literally, figuratively or indefinitely], result [immediate, ultimate or prophetic], purpose); specifically, an impost or levy (as paid): KJV -  continual, custom, end (-ing), finally, uttermost. Compare NT:5411
