1.     The Cross - Horizontal & Vertical 

a.     Ten Commandments

                              i.         Relationships with man 

1.     Thou shalt not kill

2.     Thou shalt not commit adultery

3.     Thou shalt not steal 

4.     Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor

5.     Honor they father and thy mother

                             ii.         Relationships  with God 

1.     Thou shalt have no other Gods before me

2.     Thou shalt not make any graven image

3.     Thou shalt not take the Name of The Lord in vain

4.     Remember the sabbath day - to keep it holy 

5.     Both about God and man - thou shalt not covet 

2.     All Your Ducks In A Row

a.     You may have all of your ducks in a row and all things should be going well and still live in misery, depression, and unsatisfied

b.     You may be the king of all your survey but NOT be the priest of it . . .

c.     Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. 3.     Kings And Priests

a.     Revelation 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: 2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw. 3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand. 4 John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne; 5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, 6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. KJV

                              i.         This is a prophecy and revelation of things that will come to pass, even now in OUR FUTURE and still there will be kings and priests . . .

                             ii.         Kings - 

1.     NT:932 basileia (bas-il-i'-ah); from NT:935; properly, royalty, i.e. (abstractly) rule, or (concretely) a realm (literally or figuratively): KJV - kingdom, reign.

a.     NT:935 basileus (bas-il-yooce'); probably from NT:939 (through the notion of a foundation of power); a sovereign (abstractly, relatively, or figuratively): KJV - king. 

                           iii.         Priests - 

1.     NT:2409 hiereus (hee-er-yooce'); from NT:2413; a priest (literally or figuratively): KJV - (high) priest. 

a.     NT:2413 hieros (hee-er-os'); of uncertain affinity; sacred: KJV - holy.

4.     Jurisdiction

a.     I may have authority in DC but not in another Church

b.     Matthew 28:20 the word power means - 

                              i.         NT:1849 exousia (ex-oo-see'-ah); from NT:1832 (in the sense of ability); privilege, i.e. (subjectively) force, capacity, competency, freedom, or (objectively) mastery (concretely, magistrate, superhuman, potentate, token of control), delegated influence:  KJV - authority, jurisdiction, liberty, power, right, strength.

5.     Now I Can Preach 

a.     1 Chronicles 11:4-5

                              i.          The inhabitants of Jebus said to David, "You shall not enter here." Nevertheless David captured the stronghold of Zion (that is, the city of David). NASU

                             ii.           The people of Jebus said to David, "You will never get in here!" But David captured the fortress of Zion, now called the City of David.  NLT

                           iii.         5 But the inhabitants of Jebus said to David, "You shall not come in here!" Nevertheless David took the stronghold of Zion (that is, the City of David). NKJV

1.     What has the enemy told you that you cannot have?  God says it is yours!

b.     Abraham recovered his family that was taken 

c.     Job was given more than he started with 

 

 

The man who wanted Jesus to heal his servant understood authority
