1.     High Places

a.     Civil War

                               i.         First - war is not civil - it is war

                             ii.         Jeroboam - 1 Kings 12:27 If this people go up to do sacrifice in the house of the LORD at Jerusalem, then shall the heart of this people turn again unto their lord, even unto Rehoboam king of Judah, and they shall kill me, and go again to Rehoboam king of Judah. 28 Whereupon the king took counsel, and made two calves of gold, and said unto them, It is too much for you to go up to Jerusalem: behold thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. 29 And he set the one in Bethel, and the other put he in Dan. 30 And this thing became a sin: for the people went to worship before the one, even unto Dan. 31 And he made an house of high places, and made priests of the lowest of the people, which were not of the sons of Levi. 32 And Jeroboam ordained a feast in the eighth month, on the fifteenth day of the month, like unto the feast that is in Judah, and he offered upon the altar. So did he in Bethel, sacrificing unto the calves that he had made: and he placed in Bethel the priests of the high places which he had made. KJV

1.      . . .it is too much . . .

2.      . . .lowest people, not sons . . . 

a.     I am behind you story

                            iii.         Josiah -  2 Kings 23:19 And all the houses also of the high places that were in the cities of Samaria, which the kings of Israel had made to provoke the LORD to anger, Josiah took away, and did to them according to all the acts that he had done in Bethel. 20 And he slew all the priests of the high placesthat were there upon the altars, and burned men's bones upon them, and returned to Jerusalem. KJV

1.      . . .all the high places were taken away . . .

2.      . . . Slew all the priests of the high places . . . 

2.     Shadows of Things To Come

a.     Old Testament is the New Testament concealed, the New Testament is the Old Testament revealed - Missler Quote

a.     2 Corinthians 10:3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: 4(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) 5 Casting down imaginations , and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; 6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled. KJV

3.     It's All In Your Head

a.     The Greatest Battle you will fight in this life is the one in your head and  your heart

4.     Seeds Planted 

a.     Satan cannot hear your thoughts, but he can read  lips! 

b.     Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? KJV

                               i.         C there is no indication that he read her thoughts or her mind, he spoke to her and she answered him! 

1.      Ephesians 4:27 Neither give place to the devil. KJV

a.     Sometimes the devil keeps you up at night to have conversation with you . . .

                                                                       i.         To see what you will think about 

                                                                      ii.         To see what you will watch 

                                                                    iii.         To see what you will read

1.     Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure , whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
