1. Doubt
a. Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? 2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: 3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. i. Doubt is almost faiths opposite
1. Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. KJV
2. Doubt And His Word
a. If we doubt we can take Him at His Word - then we begin to doubt His Identity, then we are no longer able to be sure of OUR identity . . .
3. Doubt And Identity
a. Matthew 4:3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. KJV
i. You never have to prove yourself to God! NEVER.
ii. Satans attacks often center around identity, and faults in our faith create identity crisis
