Honor Our Heritage
o The IPHC has existed since 1911
o Miracles, signs wonders, missions
o Bishop Beecham A people of promise and A place of Hope
o We have gone from music on the wall to our Bibles on our phones
o But - in all our changing we have retained out heritage
Proverbs 22:28 Remove not the ancient landmark, which thy fathers have set. KJV
· To this day we hold fast to our unwavering belief in divine healing, miracles, signs and wonders and the most wonderful Pentecostal Baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues
This Present Generation
o Bishop Randell Drake has led us with his vision of releasing ministers and churches into divine destiny
o As a Denomination and a Conference we continue to release younger AND OLDER ministers into ministry and strive to pass the baton from one generation to another in the Spirit of Elijah and Elisha
2 Kings 2:14 And he took the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and smote the waters, and said, Where is the LORD God of Elijah? and when he also had smitten the waters, they parted hither and thither: and Elisha went over. KJV
From Generation To Generation
Joshua 4:5 And Joshua said unto them, Pass over before the ark of the LORD your God into the midst of Jordan, and take ye up every man of you a stone upon his shoulder, according unto the number of the tribes of the children of Israel: 6 That this may be a sign among you, that when your children ask their fathers in time to come, saying, What mean ye by these stones? 7 Then ye shall answer them, That the waters of Jordan were cut off before the ark of the covenant of the LORD; when it passed over Jordan, the waters of Jordan were cut off: and these stones shall be for a memorial unto the children of Israel for ever. o Show them
· Show them - The old time power of God that showed up in the brush arbors and the camp meetings with no air conditioners and open tabernacles!
· Show them - the pictures of the souls saved at Tiger Mountain and retell the stories of those who were born again and born into ministries that forever changed the world!
· Show Them how we gathered together in "upper rooms" for years in places like TMCC and then went out and among to our cities and churches across the Midwest to reach the lost for Jesus and equip His saints!
· Show them - how we used technology to come together and defy a pandemic and celebrate the The Alpha and Omega who will NEVER change!
