Genesis 2:21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; 22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. 23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. 24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. 25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.KJV

 

Why do you  think we are ashamed and embarrassed when we talk about sex now? It is openly discussed BEFORE we are Christians then once we are saved it becomes an almost taboo subject . . .what we DON’T say about sex is just as important, if not moreso, than what we do say. The church cannot continue to take the stand that sex is bad bad bad and then expect a married couple to have good sex and their outlook on sex be ok!  God said that sex was good, inside the bonds of marriage.  Adam and Eve were naked and they were not ashamed, why, because they were only doing what God created them to do and then gave them permission to do!   Sex is not bad, not talking and teaching about sex is bad, not understanding what the Bible has to say about sex is bad, using sex as a weapon is bad, watching others have sex is bad, reading about others having sex is bad, but inside the bonds of marriage in the way that God intended sex is Good - God said so Himself!!  , If  you act like it is something dirty then your kids will grow up thinking it is something dirty.

And he said, Behold, in the tent. 10 And he said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him. 11 Now Abraham and Sarah were old and well stricken in age; and it ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women. 12 Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also? KJV

Simply put Godly people CAN and SHOULD enjoy sex inside the bonds of marriage!
