  1. Recap From Wednesday
    • o Genesis 17:1 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.2 And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly . . .15 And God said unto Abraham, As for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be. 16 And I will bless her, and give thee a son also of her: yea, I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of people shall be of her. 17 Then Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a child be born unto him that is an hundred years old? and shall Sarah, that is ninety years old, bear? KJV
    • Abrahams' Bad Day
    • o Genesis 16:1 Now Sarai Abram's wife bare him no children: and she had an handmaid, an Egyptian, whose name was Hagar. 2 And Sarai said unto Abram, Behold now, the LORD hath restrained me from bearing: I pray thee, go in unto my maid; it may be that I may obtain children by her. And Abram hearkened to the voice of Sarai. KJV

    • 1. The Pits
    • o Genesis 37:23 And it came to pass, when Joseph was come unto his brethren, that they stript Joseph out of his coat, his coat of many colours that was on him; 24 And they took him, and cast him into a pit: and the pit was empty, there was no water in it. 25 And they sat down to eat bread: and they lifted up their eyes and looked, and, behold, a company of Ishmeelites came from Gilead with their camels bearing spicery and balm and myrrh, going to carry it down to Egypt. 26 And Judah said unto his brethren, What profit is it if we slay our brother, and conceal his blood? 27 Come, and let us sell him to the Ishmeelites, and let not our hand be upon him; for he is our brother and our flesh. And his brethren were content. 28 Then there passed by Midianites merchantmen; and they drew and lifted up Joseph out of the pit, and sold Joseph to the Ishmeelites for twenty pieces of silver: and they brought Joseph into Egypt. KJV
      1. i. The coat was a symbol of what Joseph meant to his father - and the brothers hated it as much as they hated Joseph
      1. 2. Naked
    • o they stripped Joseph of his coat - his outward garment of favor, (rlware - when others look on the favor of God in your life they cannot stand it - they will try to take away the evidence but they cannot remove enough to leave you naked because  you are clothed with kingly garments, you are clothed with the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus and not amount of nakedness can get rid of His favor on your life!
    • o It was not just that he had his fathers characteristics - he had his fathers love!
    • o That jacket was not going to fit him where God was taking him, he would outgrow it!
    • 3. You Can't Rob Me Of My Favor With The Father!
    • o Job was stripped of all that was thought to be his blessing but God was his source, it was God who supplied his life and in God he lived and moved and had his being and God cannot be stripped from our lives!'
    • o when life and the world has done their best to strip me of all the things they felt that they provided it is then that i will shine.
      1. i. they thought it was their check that kept me going
      1. ii. they thought it was their gift that kept people coming
      1. iii. they thought they could remove the favor from my life but did not realize that His favor runs in my blood!
      1. 4. The End
    • o Revelation 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.  8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. KJV
    • o Psalms 23:5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies : thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever. KJV
      1. i. You cant stop Him from blessing me!
