1. 1. Get To Doing

1. a. Ruth 2:1-6

2:1 And Naomi had a kinsman of her husband's, a mighty man of wealth, of the family of Elimelech; and his name was Boaz.

2 And Ruth the Moabitess said unto Naomi, Let me now go to the field, and glean ears of corn after him in whose sight I shall find grace. And she said unto her, Go, my daughter.

3 And she went, and came, and gleaned in the field after the reapers: and her hap(to bring about, appoint - steps of a good man are ordered by The Lord)  was to light on a part of the field belonging unto Boaz, who was of the kindred of Elimelech.

4 And behold, Boaz came from Bethlehem, and said unto the reapers, The LORD be with you. And they answered him, The LORD bless thee.

5 Then said Boaz unto his servant that was set over the reapers, Whose damsel is this?

6 And the servant that was set over the reapers answered and said, It is the Moabitish damsel that came back with Naomi out of the country of Moab: KJV

1. b. There are times when it become difficult to move forward - gather all your strength and MOVE

1. i. While Naomi was trapped in the moment - Ruth broke free from the moment 

1. 1. Naomi blamed God for what had happened to her. Naomi allowed her vision of God to be distorted because of what she had gone through, even though it was not God who led her to Moab - sometimes we follow people and allow those experiences to cloud our relationship w/ God 

1. c. It seemed so random, but nothing is ever really random. There is a cause, there is a purpose Ecclesiastes 3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: KJV

1. 2. Where Is Jesus Right Now - Are You With Him?

1. a. He was nailed to a tree - but He did not stay there

1. b. He is now making intercession for us, just as Ruth was making intercession for Naomi - she was moving on

1. 3. Along Came . . . Boaz

1. a. Boaz noticed Ruth before she noticed him . . .

1. i. God is looking for you

1. ii. He was never lost - we were

1. iii. There have been conversations about you before you ever acknowledged God existed

1. 4. From Gleaning To Glory 

1. a. She was just trying to survive - but she trusted

1. i. God has a plan!
