Jesus is Beginning And End
Revelation 1:8
8 I am Alpha and Omega , the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty KJV
Never leaves us nor forsakes us
He changes not
Hebrews 6:17-19
17 God also bound himself with an oath, so that those he promised to help would be perfectly sure and never need to wonder whether he might change his plans.
18 He has given us both his promise and his oath, two things we can completely count on, for it is impossible for God to tell a lie. Now all those who flee to him to save them can take new courage when they hear such assurances from God; now they can know without doubt that he will give them the salvation he has promised them.
19 This certain hope of being saved is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our soulsTLB
- When we get saved all things change, we are in fact a totally new creation in Christ
2 Corinthians 5:17
17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature : old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new KJV
God does not change at all
- When we get saved all things change, we are a new creation
- Grown frogs can drown in they stay underwater - whales can drown in the water and can suffocate on land
- Life is a process of our moving from one place to another
- Tadpoles have (are born with) gills but still need lungs to breather in addition to their gills
- Studies show tiny tadpoles are not strong enough to break the surface tension on water to breathe
- If a tadpole doesn’t grow and mature it doesn’t mean he wasn’t a frog, it just means he is destined to live in a place he was meant to leave until he is a meal for something bigger. The enemy is looking for who he may devour
- We tend to identify ourselves w/ our calling rather than our Christ. Paul was an apostle but he knew his high calling was to be like Jesus
- We can have years to prepare and still not be ready when the time comes,
- We know from the moment they are born that one day they will leave but we are still not ready
- My sweet dog and how I felt when we got Kaya
- On 911 within just a few hours our world changed, we no longer felt safe in our own country- but God did not change
