Matthew 17:10-16

10 And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come?

11 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore ( reconsititue, in health, home or organitzation, restore again)  all things.

12 But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them.

13 Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.

14 And when they were come to the multitude, there came to him a certain man, kneeling down to him, and saying,

15 Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatick, and sore vexed: for ofttimes he falleth into the fire, and oft into the water.

16 And I brought him to thy disciples, and they could not cure him (the man was just recounting what he saw, and what he saw he believed and accepted as truth, he did not lie or place blame, he just told the truth, what he might tell in a court of law before a jury, just the facts as he saw them to be)17 Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him hither to me.

18 And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour.

19 Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out?

20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

21 Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting. KJV

 

When you are out of faith or it seems like your faith wont work

• o get more faith.  
• • When your car says empty you go to the gas station - 
• • when you are weak and hungry you go to the refrigerator 

 

How do you get more faith? I am glad you asked.

• o Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. KJV
• o Romans 10:17 Yet faith comes from listening to this message of good news — the Good News about Christ. NLT

 

Did they give up?  Did they never again lay hands on the sick and expect healing?  Did they give in to shame and a regret and just stop trying? NO

• • Do you practice something because you know you cant or because you believe you can? Yes, but which is the greater truth , the greater yes
• • Whose report will you believe?

 

 

How will you respond?  Will this time be different than all the times before, the answer is up to you.

 

Satan has a preconceived notion on your behavior based on what you have done in the past - will you break or break free?  Will you back down or break through?  Will you submit or put into submission?

 

Stop shooting at everything in the woods that moves. B come spiritual snipers 

 

1 Chronicles 14:8-11

8 And when the Philistines heard that David was anointed king over all Israel, all the Philistines went up to seek David. And David heard of it, and went out against them.

9 And the Philistines came and spread themselves in the valley of Rephaim(valley of the giants - from a word that means to mend or heal) .

10 And David inquired of God, saying, Shall I go up against the Philistines? and wilt thou deliver them into mine hand? And the LORD said unto him, Go up; for I will deliver them into thine hand.

11 So they came up to Baal-perazim(plural of breaking forth; and David smote them there. Then David said, God hath broken in upon mine enemies by mine hand like the breaking forth of waters: therefore they called the name of that place Baal-perazim. KJV
