                          ii.         Judah - OT:3063 Yehuwdah (yeh-hoo-daw'); from OT:3034; celebrated; Jehudah (or Judah), the name of five Israelites; also of the tribe descended from the first, and of its territory: KJV - Judah. 

1.     OT:3034 yadah (yaw-daw'); a primitive root; used only as denominative from OT:3027; literally, to use (i.e. hold out) the hand; physically, to throw (a stone, an arrow) at or away; especially to revereor worship (with extended hands); intensively, to bemoan (by wringing the hands): KJV - cast (out), (make) confess (-ion), praise, shoot, (give) thank (-ful, -s, -sgiving).

                         iii.         Azekah - OT:5825 `Azeqah (az-ay-kaw'); from OT:5823; tilled; Azekah, a place in Palestine: KJV - Azekah.

1.     OT:5823 `azaq (aw-zak'); a primitive root; to grub over: KJV - fence about.

                         iv.         Ephes - dammim - OT:658 'Ephec Dammiym (eh'-fes dam-meem'); from OT:657 and the plural of OT:1818; boundary of blood- drops; Ephes-Dammim, a place in Palestine: KJV - Ephesdammim. 

1.     OT:657 'ephec (eh'-fes); from OT:656; cessation, i.e. an end (especially of the earth); often used adverb, no further; also (like OT:6466) the ankle (in the dual), as being the extremity of the leg or foot: KJV - ankle, but (only), end, howbeit, less than nothing, nevertheless (where), no, none (beside), not (any, -withstanding), thing of nought, save (-ing), there, uttermost part, want, without (cause).

2.     OT:1818 dam (dawm); from OT:1826 (compare OT:119); blood (as that which when shed causes death) of man or an animal; by analogy, the juice of the grape; figuratively (especially in the plural) bloodshed (i.e. drops of blood): KJV - blood (-y, -guiltiness, [-thirsty], innocent.

b.     1 Samuel 17:1 Now the Philistines gathered together their armies to battle, and were gathered together at (fence/hedge/restraint), which belongeth to (celebrated/to throw a stone/reverence/confession/praise), and pitched between (fence/hedge/restraint)and (fence about), in (no further/ankle/foot/juice of the grape/innocent blood). KJV

                            i.         David later celebrated wins that God had given  him over the lion and the bear before he met Goliath on the battle field

                          ii.         David killed Goliath with a stone - at the place that belongs to "throw a stone" and "praise" 

2.     1 Samuel 17:2

a.     1 Samuel 17:2 And Saul and the men of Israel were gathered together, and pitched by the valley of Elah, and set the battle in array against the Philistines. KJV

                            i.         Elah - OT:425 'Elah (ay-law'); the same as OT:424; Elah, the name of an Edomite, of four Israelites, and also of a place in Palestine: KJV - Elah. 

1.     OT:424 'elah (ay-law'); feminine of OT:352; an oak or other strong tree: KJV - elm, oak, teil-tree. 

a.     OT:352 'ayil (ah'-yil); from the same as OT:193; properly, strength; hence, anything strong; specifically a chief (politically); also a ram (from his strength); a pilaster (as a strong support); an oak or other strong tree: KJV - mighty (man), lintel, oak, post, ram, tree. 

1.     The shittim or terebinth tree - which is what the ark was made of

3.     Exodus 12:22 And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the bason, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the bason; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning. 23 For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel , and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you. KJV
