i. Kidnapped in a raid, was essentially a POW, a slave
ii. What we learn from her
1. Love your enemies
2. Minister where God has planted you and to whom He has given you audience
3. Pray for those who are against you
iii. What we notice about her
1. Her faith
2. Her heart
3. Her boldness
4. Her confidence in her place
5. Her confidence in her God
c. Elisha
i. Station was above the status of being overly concerned with horizontal things - he put things in their rank/priority
1. He did not even go outside when Naaman arrived
ii. Knew that he was given authority to deal with the issue at hand and was not afraid to walk in the authority that God had given him
iii. Wanted a change to prove that God was all He said He was
1. Send the man to me ( That God may heal him)

v. He will KNOW that there is a prophet in Israel
2. But . . .
a. 2 Kings 5:1 Now Naaman, captain of the host of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master, and honourable, because by him the LORD had given deliverance unto Syria: he was also a mighty man in valour, but he was a leper KJV
i. You can seemingly have it all together and still be a mess
1. But he was a leper
2. Hidden under the armor
b. Issues And Brokenness
i. Just because those around were not able to see it did not make his leprosy go away
ii. Just because he hid it, under the shiny thick armor that had kept him alive time and again from the blows of a sword and the flight of an arrow in battle - the leprosy was still there
3. Healing of Hidden Things
a. God won't heal what you hide
b. We cover up our issues
c. We hide our issues
d. We medicate our issues with our successes in other places and pretend they don’t exist
4. Kingdom VS Kingdom
a. Come meet a Healer from another Kingdom - His Name is Jesus
i. He has no limitations
ii. He has never failed though others have
iii. He loves you and CAN where others ignore you and say you CAN"T
5. Your Mess
a. Broken inside
b. Lost
c. Family issues
d. Pride
e. In number of things . . . God can cure them all
6. Dipping In The Pool
a. What Naaman had kept hidden had to be uncovered in order for him to dip in the Jordan
b. Imagine what he felt - and what they saw when he began to remove his armor in front of his men
i. It must have been humiliation to admit what he was really was and for others to see him that way, to know that he could NOT FIX HIMSELF
