2025.10.05 - MAPS - The Path I Take

If it is not on the map don’t go down that road!

  • BIBLE – Basis Instructions Before Leaving Earth
  • Follow the Map – stay on the right road – avoid detours

ISRAEL & THE CLOUD

Exodus 13:21 And the LORD went before Angela, this table is mountedq them by day in a pillar of

a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night:

22 He took not away the pillar of the cloud by day , nor the pillar of fire by night, from before the people. KJV

  • When God delivered Israel from Egypt, He gave them a road map of sorts to follow.
  • God knew we would walk through dark times even

from the beginning, Israel had the pillar of cloud and

fire and we have The Holy Ghost. He has not left us!

  • The purpose of the Cloud was to never get into a place where God was not already at – if I will follow Him I won’t have to keep finding Him!

THE PATH I TAKE

Satan knows where you have been but he may not know where you are going.

  • He is not omniscient
  • He is not omnipresent
    • He came to present himself before the Lord in
    • Job - he had been going up and down looking for someone, searching as a roaring lion
  • He is not Holy Spirit led
    • He cannot see, discern things of the spirit, in this area he has been shut off from God

RUNNING AROUND IN CIRCLES

If we go around in circles he can build a trap because he knows we will come here again,

  • Move forward, always forward, going not back even a step
  • Wilderness wanderings
  • Satan can track the flesh but is not able to predict the spirit, he cannot because he is in "darkness" and Spirit is Light
  • He "knows" what you will do based on what you have done in the past!  Follow a new map!
  • To see something new watch something  different
  • To hear something new listen to something different
  • To go where you have never been take a route you have never taken!
  • To be what you have never been trust and follow Him

ARE YOU READY FOR SOMETHING DIFFERENT

Joshua 3:1-5

3:1 And Joshua rose early in the morning; and they removed from

Shittim, and came to Jordan, he and all the children of Israel, and lodged there before they passed over.

 2 And it came to pass after three days, that the officers went through the host;

3 And they commanded the people, saying, When ye see the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, and the priests the Levites bearing it, then ye shall remove from your place, and go after it.

4 Yet there shall be a space between you and it, about two thousand

cubits by measure: come not near unto it, that ye may know the way by which ye must go: for ye have not passed this way heretofore.

5 And Joshua said unto the people, Sanctify yourselves: for to morrow

the LORD will do wonders among you. KJV

LET GOD SET THE PATH

1 Kings 13:9-10

9 For so was it charged me by the word of the LORD, saying, Eat no bread, nor drink water, nor turn again by the same way that thou camest.

10 So he went another way, and returned not by the way that he came to Bethel. KJV

  • Sometimes the people of God will lead you down the wrong path

1 Kings 13:13-22

13 And he said unto his sons, Saddle me the ass. So they saddled him

the ass: and he rode thereon,

14 And went after the man of God, and found him sitting under an

oak: and he said unto him, Art thou the man of God that camest from Judah? And he said, I am.

15 Then he said unto him, Come home with me, and eat bread.

16 And he said, I may not return with thee, nor go in with thee: neither will I eat bread nor drink water with thee in this place:

17 For it was said to me by the word of the LORD, Thou shalt eat no bread nor drink water there, nor turn again to go by the way that thou camest.

18 He said unto him, I am a prophet also as thou art; and an angel

spake unto me by the word of the LORD, saying, Bring him back with thee into thine house, that he may eat bread and drink water. But he lied unto him.

19 So he went back with him, and did eat bread in his house, and drank water.

20 And it came to pass, as they sat at the table, that the word of the LORD came unto the prophet that brought him back:

21 And he cried unto the man of God that came from Judah, saying,

Thus saith the LORD, Forasmuch as thou hast disobeyed the mouth of the LORD, and hast not kept the commandment which the LORD thy God commanded thee,

22 But camest back, and hast eaten bread and drunk water in the place,

of the which the LORD did say to thee, Eat no bread, and drink no water; thy carcase shall not come unto the sepulchre of thy fathers. KJV

  • Do not allow a man (or woman) of God to talk you out of The Word of God
    • They may be right there with you but may not "hear" what God has said
